Our ponds are coated with polyurea on the inside. This prevents the pond from rusting through. Additionally, our ponds come with a fixed overflow pipe and optionally with through holes.
The color of corten steel is orange-brown and forms through a natural rust layer. Another name for corten steel is weathering steel: weather conditions have a positive effect on the material.
Corten steel is a metal alloy consisting of iron, to which copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel, and chromium are added. When exposed to the outdoors, the material is covered with a protective rust layer. This natural rust layer provides protection against further corrosion. This gives the ponds a long lifespan.
